Byron Servies  > Travel > 2009 > Road Trip
My 2009 road trip through Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada. Round trip, 3200 miles, with my new Honda Ridgeline and Airstream Sport. Most of the road shots were taken on auto, one handed, blasting away in the hopes I would get something while keeping my eyes on the road.

Byron Servies > Rest Stop

I never used to stop much, but now that I'm older and towing, every 100 miles it was good to take a break. About 300 - 350 mile a day at 55 mph was all I wanted to do. 55 is Honda's max recommended speed for towing, and it happens to be the speed limit in most states I visited for trailers.
Byron Servies > Just about to my first day destination, but first I had a tire explode. Just 400 miles on them, 300 miles on the day and 23 from Castle Crag.

Byron Servies > My Castle Crags camp site

The large box in the middle is a bear box, for food storage over night. They were having golden bear sightings when I was there, I was told.
